Aloha and welcome to your first semseter at the University of Hawaii at Manoa!!!! My name is Dorothy Terry and I will be the Peer Mentor for Cluster 10!!!! I’m so excited to meet you all. Okay, so here is a little bit about me… are you ready!?!

My name is Dorothy… as I stated above but this is just a reminder. I’m a senior this year studying Anthropology and Classics (Latin and Greek) and I also study Ancient Egyptian Hierogylphs. I know, I like old things. This is my second year as a Peer Mentor and I love this program. I hope you will too. I am from Alabama but I was born in New Jersey. I have 2 younger sisters that drive me crazy but I love them… what can you do.

Anywho, enough about me… we’ll talk more in class. What I’m really interested in is getting to know you all. I’m looking forward to getting to know you and having some fun this semester.

So, I’ll see you in August… oh did I mention I’m going on an archaeological dig in Egypt this summer. I’ll let you know how it goes.
